Windows Vista on a Macbook

First of all, let's get it out of the way: Windows Vista works on a black Macbook (not pro, AKA BlackBook) with 2 gigs of RAM, a 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duao processor, and a 20 GB partition. Smooth, like a cat scraping its ass on a new white carpet.

Well, maybe not that smooth. It stutters a bit when using Flip 3D. Not a "ohhh crap too much shit going on!" stutter; more like a "lots of graphics! ahh! We have a poorly written 3D API!" kind of stutter. Not too bad though. Moving windows around doesn't result in the dreaded screen re-draw.

All in all, not a terrible experience. But then again, it's early in the game. Project page entry coming soon with pictures....just because nobody out there is current with their info. C'mon people: Vista RC2 was over 6 months ago. Get with the program!
