Removing texts from an iPhone

To remove an individual or all text messages from an iPhone running iPhone OS 3.0, open the thread between you and the other person and tap the edit button in the upper-right corner. Check-bubbles will appear to the left of all the messages. Check and delete.

To get rid of an entire text conversation, go to the list of conversations and swipe to the right, then tap the delete button.
