Don't. Stand. Next. To. This. Guy.

Rather than launch into a long diatribe about how "evil" or "clueless" your President is (Does "Not My President" sound so good now? Can I use it?), I'm just going to put up this link:

American-born terrorist cleric assassination authorized without due process

Some might say he's a terrorist and that it's good to kill him. I agree, although not because I view myself as more important than him, but rather because he poses a threat to me and my loved ones. What I don't agree with is the shaky grounds on which it's decided that he's a candidate for the kill list. Let's be honest for a second: the United States (from the youngest grade-schooler to the heads of the Government) in all its glory, isn't always known for double-checking its homework. Couple that with an almost pathological inability to say "whoops! my bad" and blatant disregard for human life and I start to get a little worried.

All that aside, as any Afghan villager who's ever been within pissing distance of a target of opportunity can tell you, we aren't always the most discreet with the chosen method of dispatch, which ties nicely into my title for this post.

To summarize: Killing terrorist: GOOD. Killing "maybe" terrorist who might be living next to me on ONE person's say-so?: BAD.
