Great. Now that we've gotten that out of the way, we can go a little more in-depth. So what does "work experience" mean? To many, it just means how long you've been doing something or what kind of work you do. To me, it means being able to adapt to whatever challenge presents itself at the most inconvenient time; being flexible enough to realize when the answer to every nail may not necessarily be a hammer. With that said, I've done the following:

• Worked for a local municipality as a student intern in the networking and information services department for six years
• Currently work full-time for that same employer for over two years as a program developer, platform researcher, and general go-to guy
• Managed and worked with a group of talented (and a tad bit comical) students as a Level II Network Technician while attending my Alma Mater, the University of Rhode Island for two and a half years
• Opened my own small-business and home consulting shop based and registered in Westchester County, New York. That website is here.
